She has made art of her life by travel, study and experience.

She begin by moving into a deserted house in the mountain in shinshu,Japan.She would practice her music while listening to the sound of nature,From there,she traveled and lived in India.Hearing again the songs of birds and the sounds of the wind, she also listened to the prayer-songs of various faiths and the planting-songs of different regions.After a chance meeting with Barry Harris in Tokyo,she was joined his workshop in NYC. She found in his music the silence that she felt in nature.

名古屋生まれ。20才からピアノトリオでプロ活動を始める。一時、信州の山に移り住み、後インドに渡る。

'９１年上京。渡辺文雄らと活動。'９８年渡米。俊英ミュージシャンを率いたクィンテットは絶大なる人気を誇る。NHKセッション’９７’９９に出演。’９９初リーダーアルバム『UH HUH！』でCDデュー。

2009年 tsのJimmy Heath をフィーチュアしNYレコーディング。

現在、 東京、横浜を中心に、活動はトリオ、デユオ、ソロ、カルテット、クィンテットと幅広い。
