Part 3. Swing Techniques Supporting the Basic Tactics
This page introduces the swing technique of Section 2.5 Return by Converting to Drive or Cut from Hcork or Fcork.
When the ball with the Hcork(H) comes from the opponent, adding FcorkDrive(FT) converts it a Drive(T).
When the ball with the Hcork(H) comes from the opponent, adding FcorkCut(FB) converts it a Cut(B).
When the ball with the Hcork(H) comes from the opponent, adding FcorkDrive(FT) converts it a Drive(T).
When the ball with the Fcork(F) comes from the opponent, adding HcorkDrive(HT) converts it a Cut(B).
Here, it is assumed that the service from the opponent comes to your backhand side.
Once again confirm. If you are able to add the spin indicated by the vector diagram,
it is OK in any swing. Following techniques are one example.
Gripping the racket with your right hand, directing its head downward for the left-back, in the process to swing the racket upright by the elbow, you rub the ball's right-top side with the racket's back side.
Gripping the racket with your right hand, directing its head downward for the left-back, in the process to swing the racket upright by the elbow, you rub the ball's left-bottom side with the racket's back side.
Gripping the racket with your right hand, directing its head downward for the left-fore, in the process to swing the racket upright by the elbow, you rub the ball's left-top side with the racket's back side.
Gripping the racket with your right hand, directing its head downward for the right-forward with fixing wrist, in the process to swing the racket downward by the elbow, you rub the ball's right-bottom side with the racket's back side .
